This great and long-established restaurant is perhaps the best value and most consistent in Hvar. It offers most (if not all) of the traditional adriatic dishes with fast, efficient and friendly service both inside and under canopies is the town’s main square.

As you might expect in an island port there is plenty of excellent seafood on the menu - try the calamari, on the face of it the same as fried squid in a hundred restaurants around the adriatic shore, but something here makes it more satisfying, perhaps its something in the atmosphere (the smell of Lavender?) or the exquisite location with swallows and martins wheeling around the Cathedral tower and along the square, or perhaps its the way they cook it.
